Event Details

The Zulu Parade is the authentic Mardi Gras experience. This raucous parade travels down Jackson Avenue from Claiborne Avenue, then make a left on St. Charles Avenue and heads toward Canal Street in beautiful Uptown New Orleans.

Zulu boasts about two dozen floats from the Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club filled with costumed revelers, the parade king and queen, and a ton of beads. Watch out for the Zulu golden nuggets (aka painted coconuts) which are some of the most sought-after toss outs of all the Mardi Gras parades.
