Description:

The weekend produces lines of college students and tattooed patrons snaking down the sidewalk in front of the neon orange, green and blue building. Inside, the plain wooden tables that barely support the upcoming feast. The friendly staff is prompt, sailing through the large room exchanging knowing glances and jokes, lost on all except those who pocket the tips. The sticky menu dishes up many choices. Huevos rancheros are stacked with soft tortillas, creamy beans, veggies and fluffy eggs. The massive burger is just like the ones Dad made on the barbecue, minus the burnt edges. Add a huge, healthy salad and wash it down with freshly squeezed orange juice. Skim over the latest music mag amid the young and unshaven while noshing on the unique stuffed tomatoes, brimming with tuna or chicken salad.
