Shakespeare's History comes to life in the Genesian production of Richard II. King Richard II has seemingly all the power and control that a monarch could ask for--over his subjects, over his kingdom's property, and over his own family. However, there is dissent brewing, and the crown may not be as secure as Richard believes. Who truly deserves the throne--the one who holds it or the one who takes it?
Following this evening's performance, the Rummel English Department and the Genesian Players will co-host a talkback with the cast and crew on the literary elements of this piece and how those elements were brought to life on stage.
