Delgado announces their latest production: Detroit ‘67 by recent MacArthur Foundation grant recipient, Dominique Morisseau.
Detroit ‘67 opens Wednesday, February 20th in the Delgado Drama Hall, 615 City Park Ave (3rd Floor) of Building 1. The production will run one week only: Wednesday, February 20th through Sunday, February 24th. The curtain times for Wednesday-Saturday performances are at 8:00 p.m., and the Sunday matinee on February 24th is at 3:00 p.m. (closing performance).
Tickets are $12 general admission, $10 for DCC students, faculty, staff, and senior citizens, $8 for all area high school students with student group rates available. Thursday, February 21st is Delgado appreciation night when all tickets for DCC students, faculty, and staff are only $8.

Synopsis:
Set during the riots of the summer of 1967, Detroit ’67 delves into the bond between a brother and sister and the difficult, life-altering decisions they must make against a backdrop of chaos and economic instability.
The production staff includes costume design by Shelby Butera, scene design by James Means, lighting and sound design by Tom Dawson.
Detroit '67 is written by Dominique Morisseau and directed by Michael Santos. The play will be performed by students from Delgado’s Theatre Program.
