Spark a curiosity for nature in your kids as they play, learn, and grow in the Discovery Garden at Longue Vue. With activities like seed planting, arts & crafts, microscope observation, and storytime, Sprouts is for kids of all ages to explore the wonderful world of the garden at their own pace. With seasonal themes and changing activities, there are always new things to discover at Sprouts. Kids of all ages welcome, though ideal for ages 18 months - 10 years. Be sure to check Facebook for updates and to learn about special themes.
First and last Saturday of each month January-October; 9:30-10:30am.
Free for LV Family Members, $5 per person for non-members.
Rain or shine.
This week's theme: Hank the Pig! Put the hog in Groundhog Day when you come to Sprouts to meet the one and only Hank the Pig, also known as the famous @mybestfriendhank. Our special guest Hank will hang alongside us as we explore the wonders of the Discovery Garden, make crafts, and plant seeds. At the very end, Hank will show us his newly published book for storytime! You don't want to miss out on this, it'll be fun, pig time.
