This event is a fundraiser to support mothers who have experienced the death of a child (Angel Mom) and may need a little help embracing their new life. Unless you have walked in her shoes, it may be difficult for you to understand the journey she has to walk. The Resurrection: Life After the Death of Child was written as a gift to Angel Moms to support them when they are ready to embrace their new life. Latisa shares her story of how she put her life back together after her son was senselessly murdered. She says, the woman she was died the night her son died. She believes if moms can see themselves in her story, it will give them hope that this is not the end and that one day she will genuinely smile again. Did you know:
- How difficult it is for a mom to answer the question "How many children do you have?" after one dies. - So many moms suffer in silence, in essence of being "strong". - That when her child dies, the person she used be no longer exists. The book was written to support moms but it is applicable to anyone suffering with grief and looking for help to embrace their life without their love one.  How can you help:
