Witness New Orleans' finest musical talent set the stage on fire as they perform for a chance of a lifetime. On May 30th, the Top Ten Finalists of the New Music Showcase will compete for a prime performance slot at this summer's Essence Festival. The evening will be more than a showcase of the city's rich vault of local talent; it will be a celebration you can't miss.

Yes! There are floor and mezzanine level areas with companion seats available for those who need them. Please contact us ahead of time so we can make necessary accommodations. Call us at (504) 371-5849.
2. Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
This is an all-ages event. Of course, you need to be 21 to purchase or receive alcoholic beverages.
3. What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
There is plenty of free street parking around the Jazz Market. We also encourage our patrons to use Uber, Lyft, or any other transportation company. We want everyone to have a great time at the Jazz Market and are happy to call you a cab if that's the safest way for you to get home.
4. What can/can't I bring to the event?
Bring a fun-loving attitude but leave the food and drinks at home.
5. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Paper tickets are great but we can scan the e-ticket on your smart phone, as well.
