MINDFULNESS AND MANDALAS | Drawing Class For Teenagers
Date: Monday, June 24th, 4-5:30 pm
Explore this powerful aid for meditation and relaxation in small groups of up to five students. In Sanskrit, Mandala means 'Sacred Center' and creating one is a fantastic way to unwind and center yourself. Instructor Eva Liebhaber will guide you in this ancient practice of intricate pattern-making that connects you simultaneously to an awareness of your surroundings and to your most inner self.
About the Instructor:
Eva Liebhaber has lived in New Orleans since 2008, when she joined the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra as a professional violinist. She has been actively involved in their Music Education Program because of her love for teaching.
In the past few years, Eva discovered the magic of mandalas and began to explore creating her own. She’s grateful for this initial opportunity to share what she has learned about designing, drawing and coloring mandalas and to help others experience the beauty of this creative expression.
Teenagers, ages 13-18
$37 per participant, all supplies included!
Booking must be completed to participate. No walk-ins, please!
