The purpose of this conference is to bring community members, community leaders, and academic researchers together to describe what partnered research is, how research impacts communities, why community participation is important, and share results of previous and ongoing partnered research projects. This will be a symposium-style with breakout sessions so that attendees can hear more about partnerships that are important and tailored to them and the work they do.
