Great Greek Food, Live Music and Entertainment, and Family Fun — Join us on Bayou St. John at the 2019 Annual Greek Festival! Featuring plenty of homemade traditional Greek food and wine, and desserts, desserts, desserts! Live traditional Greek dancing, performed by the Hellenic Dancers. A live Greek band will be playing on the Bayou so you can get your Greek on! Tour our beautiful Cathedral, visit the kids area, get our annual poster, and visit our Greek grocery with delectable cheeses, dips, spices, and much more. Tickets to New Orleans Greek Festival 2019 are only $8, either online or at the Entrance Gate.
Our theme this year is Mastika, celebrating a unique liqueur seasoned with mastic, a resin with a slightly pine or cedar-like flavor gathered from the mastic tree, a small evergreen tree native Greece and the Chios island.
Thursday Evening Soft Kickoff -- 5 to 9pm! In 2018 we hosted a limited opening on Thursday evening and had such a great response we are bringing it back this year. Because this is a soft opening only Greek Dinners & Salads, Lamb Plates, Pastries, Grocery Items, Wine and Beer, and a few other specialty items will be available for sale. This Early Bird event is cash only, $5 admission at the gate (no online tickets available).
When you attend the New Orleans Greek Festival you not only enjoy the great Greek Food, Culture, and Family Fun that we've shared with New Orleans for over forty years, but you also support a church community that has been in New Orleans for over 150 years!
