Come join us for this free event, open to the public. Free lunch will be provided.
This event will feature a panel discussion of ways to positively impact health in our neighborhoods through community partnerships, programming, promotion, and assessment. The panel feature faculty and staff from Tulane Prevention Research Center, Movin' for LIFE, and FitNOLA of the New Orleans Health Department. It will also celebrate the launch of Tulane Prevention Research Center Movin' for LIFE Guide to Community Health and provide an overview of different sections. Movin' 4 LIFE is a community coalition focused on promoting health in New Orleans. For the past five years, this group has organized a variety of activities, from a 5K Walk/Run to a photovoice exhibition, community walks to a family health fair, and so much more.
