Four-Week Improv Experience with Lauren Malara
Time: Wednesdays, July 10-31, from 6pm-8pm

Location: NOCCA, 2800 Chartres Street
ABOUT THIS CLASS
During this four-week course, students will play theatre games created by acclaimed theatre artist and teacher, Viola Spolin. They will learn skills in public speaking, team work, and mental agility. This class is great for both beginners and advanced students. Best of all, there will be a final showcase to celebrate students' progress!
PREREQUISITES
Enrollment is limited to adults 18 and over.
NOTE
A minimum number of students must enroll in this class for it to "make". If fewer students enroll than are necessary, the class will be cancelled and full refunds will be issued. If we have to cancel the class, we'll make every effort to notify students at least one week before the first class meeting.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Lauren Malara is a proud NOCCA alum who went on to receive a degree in Acting from The Theatre School at Depaul University. Previously, Lauren has taught and performed with the famed Second City Theatricals and acted as Training Center Manager of ComedySportz Chicago. In July of 2017, she was crowned The Funniest Person in New Orleans.
