Fundamentals of Glassblowing
Tue. & Thu., Jan. 14-30
6-9pm | Kids, 10-16 | $500* for six sessions
Class Size: 6-8 students
Dive straight into learning the fundamentals of glass! Students will learn the basic skills for making simple blown vessels and sculptures gaining a strong foundation for hot glassblowing. With one-on-one instruction, as well as live demonstrations, students will understand the importance of teamwork and the basics of creating their own designs with this molten material. No experience neccessary!
*Scholarships are available.
Note: Each participant will work individually with an instructor to create their glass piece, and will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis. For questions, email mari@yayainc.org or call 504.529.3306.
