MISSION STATEMENT
Established in 2001, Abbey Youth Festival is an apostolate of Saint Joseph Abbey and Seminary College, designed to promote an encounter with Jesus Christ. We prioritize evangelization and vocational discernment by means of Liturgy, prayer, worship, music, and education appropriate for Catholic young people.

HISTORY
Abbey Youth Fest began in 2001 under the leadership of Dr. Chris Baglow and a dedicated seminarian task force. The seminarians of Saint Joseph Seminary College continue to play a vital part in the production of AYF in conjunction with the seminary staff. Over 18 years, AYF has become the largest event in the Archdiocese of New Orleans, drawing nearly 250 different groups from all across the south and recently surpassing 4500 participants per year. AYF is an event you don't want to miss!

What do we do if it rains?
We have purchased large tents and shelters which allow for AYF to be a true "rain or shine" event! We will postpone or cancel only if the weather becomes too dangerous for attendees. We monitor the weather closely and work in conjunction with the St. Tammany Parish Sherrif's Department to make "day of" decisions regarding severe weather.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
In order to ensure the safest environment for all of our attendees, all must be at least 13 years of age.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
All attendees are expected to provide their own transportation. Normally, groups arrive by bus or personal car and will be directed to designated drop-off and parking spaces.
What can I bring into the event?
To ensure the safety and comfort of all our attendees, we ask that you would not bring any items which would be considered dangerous (pocket knives, weapons, scissors, etc.) If you aren't sure about an item, feel free to contact our team at ayfreg@gmail.com. Personal medications/prescriptions are certainly welcomed as needed.
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
For any questions regarding AYF, please contact AYF Director, Joe Bass:  ayfreg@gmail.com
What's the refund policy?
If an individual or group is considering cancelling their order, a refund may be
