Join Audubon Nature Institute for a screening of Straws, a film that explores the problems caused by plastic pollution and empowers individuals to be part of the solution.
Come for refreshments from 5:30 – 7:00 PM and learn ways to take action against plastic pollution in your daily life and in your community. Experience an up-close encounter with an animal ambassador and chat with Junior Aquarists about how marine debris impacts the oceans and waterways we love.
Film screening begins at 7:00 PM. Please RSVP by registering for a free ticket. Donations are graciously accepted.
Donations and cash bar proceeds support the reduction of single-use plastic through conservation education programs at Audubon and in the community.
This film is presented as a part of Audubon's Plastic Free July program. Join the challenge today!
Parking Information
Limited free parking will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis in the Aquarium employee parking lot at 302 N. Front St. Look for the guard shack with a green roof.
Validated parking will be available for $5 off in the Canal Place parking garage.
