Jasiri Basel has released the new book : “101 Things I Wish My Father Taught Me”. The book reaches, impacts and empowers black youth to lead productive lives and positively impact the world around them. While not an end all be all; it’s powerful, helpful and a great tool in the lives of those who don’t have positive male mentorship. Written in an easy to read format for maximum impact on the youth. Written for our sons, it has applications for our daughters and provides insight to us all.

Jasiri Basel has also committed to executing seminars to positively impact black male youth at various HBCU’s(Historically Black Colleges & Universities) and communities around the nation.

In addition to the commitment to get this book into the hands and minds of every adolescent, teen and college age black male in the United States, Jasiri and his partners are launching www.Manhood-101.com The website that provides insight and mentorship from various perspectives. This initiative will be media and video driven also allowing youth to send questions and comments to mentors.
