Either way, this secluded Uptown restaurant draws rave reviews and serves a dedicated local clientele. Celebrating families, goo-goo eyed couples and reminiscing old friends share the dining room and adjoining bar on any given night. Expect to find innovative twists on Creole favorites, heavy on the seafood and solid grilled items. Crab fans rejoice. There always seem to be plenty of options here, including a smoked soft-shell crab that brings new depth of flavor to the pan-fried classic. (Did I mention that it's also smothered in sauteed lump crabmeat?)
