Description

Taking care of animals has always been my passion. When I was just 15 I got my first orphaned raccoon and fell in love. From there on out I wanted to become a wildlife rehabilitator. I was finally able to make that dream come true in 2013. Ever since, each year we get a rush of orphaned and injured wildlife babies in the spring time. At Raccoon Point, we specialize in raccoons, but also take in a wide range of mammals that include squirrels, rabbits, coyotes, foxes, bats, and opossums. I am permitted through the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries. The center is a non profit organization and runs solely on donations from the public to provide essential life saving resources for the orphaned and injured wildlife.
