Description

Permanently Closed.. We are a privately funded, nonpartisan, 501(c) 3, nonprofit Farmer's Market that grew out of the need for access to fresh, affordable foods in the Treme/Iberville, Vieux Carre', and other surrounding areas. Centrally located by the front entrance of Louis Armstrong Park at 901 N. Rampart Street, the Marketplace brings fresh, local produce, seafood, and other goodies (e.g. preserves/honey, eggs, all-natural soap, fresh/dried herbs, plantain trees, pesto/tzatziki sauce, homemade pastries, and much more) every Thursday. The Marketplace runs along side Jazz in the Park September-October from 3:00-7:00 PM, and then continues from November-December from 3:00-6:00 PM. We also run in the Spring times TBA.

Come get your fresh produce, seafood, baked goods, strawberry lemonade, and handmade beauty products at the Marketplace every Thursday from 3:00-7:00PM until December 13th in front of the Armstrong Park entrance on North Rampart Street.

The market will re-open sometime in February or March of next year, a calendar will be posted!
