The Must Attend Event of 2019...our Class of 1979 40th High School Reunion Weekend!
This will be a fun weekend! Please share with your classmates that you are coming and encourage them to attend! Our class reunions have become legendary for great attendance, lots of reminiscing, reconnecting with old friends, seeing and thanking our teachers, celebrating the lives of our late classmates and donating funds to our school (oh, and trying to convince our families how normal we all were in high school).

Cocktail Party at Matt Emerson’s home in Lakeview
Location: 929 Filmore Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70124
Heavy hors d'oeuvres and wine, liquor, beer and sodas. Park in a legal space on the street nearby. Adult (over age 21) event only. Dress up for this party!

Seafood Boil & Jambalaya Party at Daniel Brockhoeft's home in Uptown
Location: 1720 Valmont Street, New Orleans, LA 70115
Lots of crawfish, shrimp, jambalaya, wine, liquor, beer and sodas will be served. Park in a legal space on the street nearby. Children and grandchildren are welcome with a purchased ticket (children under age 10 are free)! Dress casual.

We encourage you to reach out and plan meetups with classmates throughout the weekend.
 
Class Gift
We raised over $1,000 for the school at our 35th reunion. We want to exceed this amount for this reunion. Please do consider making a tax-deductible donation this year by going to www.bfhsla.org, and selecting the Class of 1979 Fund. Who's invited?
Anyone who set out to graduate from Franklin in 1979, graduated in 1979 or decided to finish a year earlier than 1979, their spouse or significant other. Children and grandchildren are invited to the Sunday party at Daniel's house. Each adult and child attendee must purchase a ticket. Children under age 10 are free!
