Save the date for the 2020 Mardi Gras 5K & Kids' Half Mile, produced by the New Orleans Track Club! Race day is Saturday, February 15, 2020 in Metairie, Louisiana.
Event Details
The Mardi Gras 5K and Kids' Half Mile is a family friendly run / walk with the race finish coinciding with Jefferson Parish's annual FREE Family Gras festival, celebrating its 13th Anniversary in 2020.
Many more event details, including race start time and registration info, will be announced Fall 2019.
Post-race entertainment features headlining musical acts at Jefferson Parish's 13th Annual Family Gras festival. Light refreshments and beer available for post-race participants. Additional food and beverages will be available for purchase, and concert admission is free and open to the public. Following the Family Gras music festival lineup will be the Krewe of Caesar Mardi Gras parade along the traditional Veterans Memorial Boulevard route.
Runners and walkers of ALL speeds from throughout the region are encouraged to participate. Host hotel information and race signup available soon at www.runNOTC.org.
