Vanguard Fitness and The Training Room are teaming up for Memorial Day MURPH 2022!
About this event
Join Vanguard Fitness Elmwood and The Training Room NOLA as we team up to sweat for a cause.
We will be doing the traditional Memorial Day MURPH workout at Vanguard Fitness. This tradition helps push us, humble us, and allows us the opportunity to dedicate a bit of pain and sweat to honor LT. Michael P. Murphy, a man who sacrificed everything he had for our freedom. You'll have 3 opportunities to join in on the workout at 6 a.m., 7:30 a.m., and 9 a.m.
We will also be using this as an opportunity to raise money for Covenant House New Orleans; the only organization in the Greater New Orleans area providing 24/7 shelter and comprehensive supportive services to young people ages 16 to 24 experiencing homelessness.
Spots are $40. The cost reserves your spot in the class of your choosing, gets you a T-Shirt, and all other proceeds will go directly to Covenant House.
We will also be raffling off items ranging from gift cards to gear to raise additional funds for Covenant House.
Stick around after and join us for a social at White Sands Volleyball Courts around the corner where we can relax and have a good time.
