The 4th Annual New Orleans Cigar Box Guitar Festival is a celebration of the art, music and cultural importance of handmade stringed instruments. Covering 4 days and 3 venues, the festival is widely considered to be the world's premier CBG event.
This ticket for Day 2 entitles the purchaser to attend the Thursday Evening Symposium, a program led by Shane “King of the Cigar Box Guitar” Speal. The presentation, at Frenchmen Theatre, will center on topics from Shane’s brand new book, Making Poor Man’s Guitars. Shane will be signing and personalizing the book at the end of the program.
Later that night, for the Thursday Night Throwdown, Shane will perform two or three rousing sets one block away at Checkpoint Charlie.
