Edible Education: Cooking as a Second Language at HI New Orleans: ‘Cooking as A Second Language’ is an interactive program introducing travelers and community members to another culture through that culture’s food. The food is prepared collectively and used as a gateway to discuss customs, values, and traditions of the both the culture of the food and the participants. New Orleans will partner with Catholic Charities Immigrant and Refugee Services, as well as the Southern Food and Beverage Museum to offer this program every three months in the HI New Orleans Hostel guest kitchen!
