It's time to Sound the Alarm! On January 24th, 2019, New Orleans will host the 7th Edition of the Love Your City Awards Gala. On this day, New Orleans' business and impact leaders will converge for a glamorous academy awards-like evening honoring winners, providing networking opportunities, and enjoying live entertainment.
Whether we are talking about massive flooding, the school to prison pipeline, or the diabetes crisis facing our country - there are social and environmental challenges that can be prevented and mitigated, if we act today. That's why this year's theme is Sound the Alarm!
LifeCity and partners from the Regional Sustainability Committee invite you join us in celebrating those organizations in our community who aren't waiting to make a difference - they are leading the way every day.
This inspiring event will also feature Hunter Lovins, Author of Natural Capitalism & Co-Founder of the Rocky Mountain Institute - a pioneer and champion for the Impact Economy.
Music will be provided by the Marina Orchestra - a local band that is sure to get you dancing!
